E-commerce was born in 1979, a man who innovate an online shopping system called “Videotex” was Michael Aldrich and he gave the concept of teleshopping which has now become online shopping. In France 1982, as online service making online purchases “Minitel” enhanced videotext. In 1987, an online market “Merchant account” the software developers and shareware community got it to sell their products using this market. And since then software industry people started online shopping. In 1990 the whole new worldwide revolution started which is still running on and on. The “worldwideweb” written by Tim Berners-Lee and introduced the first browser for the web to view “worldwideweb” and most of the things changed by it. In 1992 J.H Snider and Terra Ziporyn introduced a revolutionary book called “Future Shop”. This book was published by St. Martin’s Press. In this book writers talked about, how new technologies will bring change the way people do shopping. The navigator browser was released in 1994 by Netscap. In the same year, an online ordering started by a famous brand Pizza Hut. In 1995 the most famous website Amazon.com which is still running very smartly, started selling each and everything online. In 1998 online Electronic postal stamps stared selling by United States. And then it has started getting popular and keep enhancing and changing the ways to make online shopping better and better. Now it is 2015 so many changes in online shopping has done and it still people enhancing it day by day.

As we are living in Pakistan and if we talk about the online shopping trend in Pakistan so the story is little change. Because if we talk about Pakistan few years back Internet access by the people were very minor. There wasn’t much knowledge about internet usage. That is why E-commerce was much far away from people. The life of internet took much time to develop in Pakistan. But, when day by day internet started making place in the life of Pakistan, people started enjoying it mostly the social media.

But if we talk about the E-commerce, it took much time to spread. Because people of Pakistan were far from internet use so it was the main reason online shopping trend took so long to develop its business in Pakistan. People were used to go out for shopping, carrying so many shopping bags, making queues, waiting for their turn and paying much after these hard efforts. There wasn’t any comfort so many crowds so much disturbance people had to bear. But when Online shopping trend started getting popular gradually, people started visiting many online websites and they found it interesting. Every kind of quality and variety available in one site is just made people love it.

This is also a big reason people prefer online shopping and it’s making people trendier.
